Red Bull Winter Festivites Advent Calendar, Winter Edition, and Upcoming Events

Red Bull Winter Rollout

Well… it’s that time of year again for Red Bull drinkers everywhere. Red Bull consumers speculated what the new flavor this year would be. Would it be Iced Vanilla Berry again? (October 2024). This years winter edition will feature Fuji Apple-Ginger (October 2025). New seasonal flavor campaigns appear to be a successful marketing strategy for the company.

In 2013, Red Bull introduced new fruit flavors creating the “Editions” line. There were three original flavors Red (cranberry), Blue (blueberry), and Silver (dry lime). The Silver (dry lime) flavor was discontinued and the Red (cranberry) flavor was reformulated to watermelon. Since the initial launch, Red Bull has released many other flavors, including Yellow (tropical fruits), Orange (tangerine), Green (kiwi apple), and seasonal varieties like Fuji Apple Ginger and Iced Vanilla Berry.

A new flavor in itself for Red Bull would be big news in the energy drink market. They had more to bring consumers this year. If you have not heard by now let’s introduce to you to The Red Bull advent calendar (Released Novemeber 2025).

The calender will contain twenty-four 8.4-ounce cans including with several editions and the original, sugarfree, and zero options. The big news is that Red Bull is bringing back the pomegrante flavor exclusively to in the calender. Keep your eye out for the advent calander in limited quanties at select retailers including Costco, Kroger, Target, Walmart, and Circle K.

Red Bull Winter Festivities

Red Bull’s winter campaign events are primarily snowsport competitions like Red Bull All Snow and Roll the Dice snowboarding events. Both events give the company social media content for consumers, playing into the “Red Bull gives you wings” mindset. The all snow event features a retro-style course, while the Roll the Dice event is a snowboarding event with athlete-driven challenges.

Other winter campaigns include the multi-disciplinary Red Bull Raid snowsports event, Red Bull Cascade freeride skiing competition, and snow series Paved and Winter Heroes.

Red Bull Trends, Market Share, and Growth

2025 data figures for the entire company are not yet available. However, according to Bloomberg and data from Red Bull the company slowed down from 2023 to 2024. The below chart suggests slow growth trend despite breaking an all time net high sales of $11.7 billion dollars.

Red Bull’s Record Revenue

Despite the slowed growth Red Bull still dominates the energy drink market worldwide and in the United States. In 2024 alone they made up thirty-six percent of the whole energy drink market in the US, Monster being their biggest rival. Even with the slowed growth Red Bull will look to stay at the top continued through new marketing efforts, campagins, and beating out its competitors. It will be intriguing to see how the market changes in upcoming years with the rise of Celcius and other companies wanting a bigger slice of the pie. What Red Bull has done the past 38 years should not be undermined as they look to continue expanding as the industry standard.
